EICR–Domestic (Up to 3 Beds)
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a detailed assessment of the electrical installations in a domestic property, ensuring they meet the required safety standards. It checks the condition of the wiring, sockets, lighting, circuit boards, and other electrical components to identify any potential hazards or faults. This is essential for both tenant safety and property owners to ensure the electrical system is operating safely and efficiently. For domestic properties with up to 3 bedrooms, the EICR focuses on verifying the integrity of electrical systems in a typical home, including: Inspection of wiring and connections. Testing circuit breakers and fuse boxes. Identifying any electrical faults or deterioration. Ensuring compliance with the latest regulations (BS 7671). Providing recommendations for any required repairs or upgrades. This report is recommended for homes every 5 years or when moving into a new property to ensure peace of mind and avoid potential electrical hazards.
